Ryan and I organized a quick vacation to one of my favorite destinations: London, England. London is an immensely cultural city, full of preserved history that stuns in person. Clearly from my pictures, we explored the big three: Big Ben, Westminster Abbey (where Will and Kate married!), the Tower of London (sorry, no pics of the Crown Jewels), and all the bridges! You must walk from South to North London in order to view the glorious St. Paul’s. When our hunger could not be ignored, we ate at small pubs for some scrumptious fish and chips. For a classier feel, we loved Soho House for their rooftop cocktail bar. Yummy! Of course I could not resist shopping in this global city and visited the royal department store Harrods for their shoe floor. It was a girl’s dream! Ryan and I also enjoyed a more street-inspired feel at Camden Market and bargained for funky shirts, jewelry, hot food–you name it! Lastly, because modern art always intrigues me, we visited the Tate Modern. Originally an old power station, the Tate transformed the Southbank with its modern art exhibitions from across the world. London could not be complete without a city tour and we hired a private black cab for a two hour personal view of the sites. A vacation I’ll never forget, the city of London is too big to handle!
