Ryan and I travelled to gorgeous Williamsburg, Virginia this past month. This historic city immediately pulled us into its quaint past. We stayed at the Kingsmill Resort surrounded by the James River. The luscious golf course was perfect for late night walks. For things to do, we spent our days at the famous Jamestown Settlement. A blast into America’s past we climbed aboard the three ships that brought the Jamestown settlers and then explored the Powhatan village. We also couldn’t miss Busch Gardens with a special visit to the zoo! The wolves were adorable! For dinner, we dined at Food For Thought, a restaurant filled with social leaders and delicious American food. The décor includes intellectual quotes and discussion topics to prompt thoughtful conversation. Definitely an inspiring night to remember. Of course I shopped at the Williamsburg Premium Outlets where I could buy all my favorites at such a low price! Score! If you’re looking for something more local I also recommend the Village Shops at Kingsmill for local artisans. My Williamsburg getaway was one I’ll never forget!
